I’ve Joined Henry Group Real Estate in Denver
I’m delighted to announce that I have joined the dynamic team at Henry Group Real Estate located on South Pearl Street in Denver, Colorado. Henry Group is a boutique commercial real estate brokerage captained by Patrick Henry and Boston Weir.
Henry Group is a people-first organization focused on retail, hospitality, office, industrial, multifamily, and land brokerage. We offer support to buyers, sellers, lessors, landlords, developers, and investors with an acute, detail-oriented understanding of the Denver real estate market.
When I began my career in commercial real estate I knew that mentorship was the most valuable thing I could seek. As I’ve familiarized myself with the industry in Denver over the past few months, Henry Group stood out to me as I noticed their signs dotting the cityscape on properties I knew I’d love to be a part of brokering.
Having spent over a decade working in wine and liquor distribution in Colorado, I’ve seen what it looks like to work for a massive company. In that industry, I made my home for eight years with a boutique house where I played an intimate leadership role. When I left that company to set out on a new path, I worked with distributors of all sizes and I became more certain than ever that I wanted to find a similar boutique scale in commercial real estate.
Today, I write from a new desk in a new space with a new perspective. This morning, I sat in a meeting with an ambitious restauranteur, a talented architect, an experienced developer, and a new role model in Pat Henry. As a group, they worked through the beginning stages of bringing a fresh restaurant concept to life in Denver. Plans and concept drawings were reviewed and redlined and details and finishes were discussed. A successful project is full of moving parts and seeing a team work together to offer the best input for each role gave me chills. I’ve found my people.
Following the meeting, I joined a colleague to walk through a 12,000-square-foot space that will soon become another new restaurant and retail development in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood. Seeing that gray shell of a space and imagining what it is to become reminded me of why I got into this business in the first place: to be a part of making the city of Denver and better place to live, work, and grow.
There was a time in my life when I was certain my future was as a restaurant designer. Years later, I thought I’d surely become a restauranteur myself. Today, I’m elated to have found a space where I can learn and grow while applying the experience I’ve acquired thus far in my career. Sometimes dreams morph. I’m grateful evolution hasn’t meant giving up on those dreams, just rearranging them.
My confidence in this organization has brought new energy to my daily life and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about what I do and how the team at the Henry Group can help you find (or step away from) a remarkable property in Denver, please reach out. It would be a pleasure to serve you!
